Organised groups

Boma Yangu aggregates organised groups such as cooperative societies, chamas, employers, religious organisations, SACCOs and Unions, enabling bulk purchase of units for their members.

Overview

Boma Yangu offers an opportunity for stakeholders such as employers, employees and other potential homeowners in the housing sector to organise into groups and participate in the Affordable Housing Programme.

Organised groups can then bulk purchase units from Affordable Housing projects for their members as beneficiaries.

Organised groups journey

1

Register

Organised groups can register on Boma Yangu through an appointed agent. The agent needs to have an e-citizen account, through which they register the group, and upload registration and statutory documents for the organised group

2

Add beneficiaries

An organised group can add its members and assign each person a unit. These members shall be allocated the units once the group makes a 10% deposit of the units’ cost.

3

Browse projects and bulk off-take units

Boma Yangu allows organised groups to brown ongoing affordable housing projects and to select units from more than one project for their members

Register today

Registration is simple, all you need is an eCitizen account to onboard onto the Boma Yangu Platform. Alternatively, you can use the *832# USSD to register.
