Wajir Township AHP is one of the Affordable Housing Projects under the State Department for Housing and Urban Development. It is located in Wajir Township Ward (Skanska), Wajir East Constituency, Wajir County in Kenya's North Eastern region. Wajir Township AHP has a total of 9 no. blocks (220 units) constituting: 1 no. studio block (60 units); 3 no. one-bedroom blocks (60 units); 2 no. two-bedroom blocks (40 units); and 3 no. three-bedroom blocks (60 units). The project's design has put into consideration the provision of parking spaces, landscaped green spaces, outdoor children's play area, secured boundary wall, adequate water storage facilities, a borehole, a bio-digester, ramp access to each block on ground floor level, paved walkways and driveways.
