The Pangani Affordable Housing Project is an initiative by the Nairobi City County/Nairobi Metropolitan Services and Urban Housing and Renewal Development LLP to renew and re-create Pangani Estate by way of providing decent affordable houses for Kenyan citizens. The Project is strategically located in Pangani just behind the Pangani Police Station which is literally a 10 minutes walk from the CBD. It is the among the pioneer projects under the Affordable Housing Programme under the Big 4 Agenda. Construction is currently ongoing; once complete, the project will have a mix of 1,562 residential units coupled with various commercial amenities to serve the residents.
