The Matunda Affordable Housing Project (AHP) in Likuyani Constituency, Kakamega County, is a flagship development under the Government’s Affordable Housing Programme, implemented by the State Department for Housing and Urban Development. The project delivers modern, high-quality homes within a secure and well-planned community, designed to offer comfortable, dignified living for Kenyan families. The development features landscaped green spaces, a secure perimeter boundary wall, reliable water supply through an underground tank, back-up power, and well-maintained cabro-paved driveways, parking, and walkways. Comprising 199 residential units across four G+4 apartment blocks (Typologies A, B, and C), the project provides a balanced mix of Social, Affordable, and Market Housing, supported by essential infrastructure and amenities that promote sustainable, inclusive, and vibrant community living.
